Cait is certified in the latest protocols and regulations for sanitation and disinfection. We will be disinfecting and cleaning our tools, implements and work stations between each client.

SAFETY PROCEDURES & PROTOCOLS

  • No walk-ins allowed at this time. We are by appointment only.

  • Proof of Vaccination is not required at this time to book an appointment.

  • Please arrive for your appointment solo. If you do not come alone, we can not honor your appointment. Please arrange for childcare prior to your appointment. No pets are allowed at this time, unless they are registered service/therapy animals.

  • We will be taking touchless payments, which is preferred, but cash is also an option. We keep your payment info on file through a safe and trusted merchant. We will still be accepting Venmo.

  • Please come to your hair appointment with your hair detangled. If your stylist needs to spend additional time to detangle your hair before they can cut it or color it, there could be an additional charge for the time and work that the stylist does have to do to prepare the hair for the services that you’ve booked.

  • Arrive to your color appointment with your hair free of product build up and no more than a few days dirty. Color and lightener are best applied on clean hair. 

  • We will be charging accordingly if you no show/no call/reschedule last minute, change your services last minute or forget your appointment. You can view our Cancellation Policy on our website in the “Policies” section.

  • Due to scheduling restrictions and disinfecting protocols, we may have to reschedule your appointment if you are late. You will be charged a fee for a missed appointment if you are too late for the stylist to accommodate your services..

  • Our door will be locked. Text us when you arrive for your appointment: 781-760-1519.

  • If you can not text, call us at 781-760-1519 to let us know you have arrived.

  • Clients will not be permitted into the salon until their scheduled appointment time. No guests or children will be allowed to accompany a client during their scheduled appointment.

  • Washing your hands in our restroom or using our hand sanitizer upon entering the salon is mandatory. We also have hand sanitizer stations located around the salon.

  • If you come in showing any signs of being sick, we will kindly as you to leave and reschedule for a later date. There will be a fee for your missed appointment.

  • Keep conversation positive and light. This ongoing situation has left us all mentally exhausted.

  • All pricing is a close estimate. Hair length, hair health, timing and other factors can change overall pricing.

  • No children allowed in the salon at this time. We do not offer services for anyone under the age of 13.

POLICIES

TARDINESS POLICY:

  • We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, depending on circumstances, we may be forced to shorten or reschedule your service. If we can not accommodate your services due to your late arrival, you will be charged a fee of 75% to your card on file before you can reschedule with us as this counts as a same day cancellation. 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • CAIT Salon enforces a strict cancellation policy. We require at least 48 hours notice for all service cancellations, reschedules and service changes, including if you wish to forgo or change any booked services during your appointment. There will be a fee of 75% of the total service cost automatically charged to your card on file if you cancel or need to reschedule under the allowed time. No shows will automatically be charged a fee of 75% of missed service costs to their card on file and will not be invited to book services with us in the future. By booking an appointment with us, you are agreeing to our policies.

  • A fee could be implemented for clients who repeatedly cancel, reschedule, arrive late or change services booked, regardless of notice. A non-refundable deposit may be required to book future appointments. We also reserve the right to not book clients for future appointments if they have violated our cancellation and salon policies.

  • Due to Covid exposures being excessive, there will be a rescheduling fee if cancelling under the allowed time. We require masks to be worn at all times while in our establishment by all. If you are sick but test negative with no symptoms, you can come in for your appointment. With people making the decision to normalize their lives, comes the risk of exposure, so we will be normalizing our Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies for exposures unless you are experiencing symptoms or test positive as we still have masks in place. This helps keep our stylists schedules sustainable.

  • We do require your credit card information to keep securely on file before we can book your service appointment. By scheduling an appointment with us you give us consent to charge your card on file if you violate our cancellation and other policies. Another appointment will not be permitted to be scheduled until the fee is paid and cleared.

  • Do not come in for your appointment if you are showing any symptoms of being sick. We have the right to have you reschedule an appointment if you arrive showing any symptoms of being sick. This will be considered a cancellation and a fee of 75% of the service cost scheduled being charged to your card on file. If you call and reschedule due to being sick, we require a minimum of 2-2 1/2 weeks out to rebook at the earliest.

PRICING POLICY:

  • We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the latest and greatest. Although we make every effort to keep our website and menu updated, please note that prices and services are subject to change at any time.

  • Price estimates are just that, estimates. You may be charged for extra color, product and time needed to complete your service. If you have any questions about pricing, please contact us before your scheduled appointment.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENT/REDO POLICY:

  • If you are dissatisfied with a service you have received, we are happy to provide you with the opportunity to return to the salon for your stylist to make adjustments as long as you contact us and schedule within 7 days of the original service date. The adjustments must be scheduled with the same stylist who provided the service. However, if you feel that the stylist is unable to provide the adjustments necessary, an exception may be made and the adjustments may be scheduled with another stylist. 

  • Only slight adjustments will be allowed. Any service changes or add-ons will be charged. Changing your mind on the services provided will be booked and charged at service cost. 

  • Let your Cait know if you need any adjustments before you leave the salon. 

  • Consultations are extremely thorough and important so please, ask as many questions as you need to, to make sure you and your stylist are on the same page. Photos of hair inspiration are 100% necessary and welcome.

MONETARY POLICY:

  • CAIT Salon accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Venmo. Cash is not preferred for service payment but will be accepted. No checks will be taken as payment.

REFUND POLICY:

  • We do not offer refunds on services or products, including gift certificates.

  • We do not offer discounted services.

  • Deposits are non-refundable or transferable.

OTHER TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT:

  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Do not wear expensive items to your appointment. We are not responsible for any damaged or lost clothing and accessories.

  • Respect our right to keep a quiet atmosphere for all guests. Take all phone calls outside, and silence your ringtone.

  • We do not have a parking lot.

  • If you do not have childcare and have to cancel under the 48 hour time frame, it will be considered a last minute cancellation.

  • Understand that a trim and a haircut are the same price, same timing and require the same steps to complete.

  • We do not offer services for people under 13 years of age.
